Established in the year 2018, Brahma Baba Techno School is one of the best new age schools in Kokrajhar. This aesthetically designed school adheres to the CBSE curriculum. Brahma Baba Techno School is created by the vision of Lt. Ajay Kumar Basumatary (B. Tech, NIT Shrinagar) with the aim of providing an ideal, professional platform for young aspirants and to provide top quality holistic education. This initiative has been started in the Academic Year 2018-19 starting from class: Pre-Nursery till VII. The school is going to start its 3rd session in the Academic Year 2020-21.
The founder of Brahma Baba Techno School, Late Ajay Kumar Basumatary was a promising visionary and down to earth in his approach of life. He was a brilliant student and started his service career as AE in Water Resource department in the year 1995 and held various positions till his recent assignment as Superintending Engineer in Water Resource Department itself at Mushalpur, Baksa, Assam. He was an exceptionally good footballer and sports lover since his school days. He was executive member of All Assam Football Association and AAOA, Vice President of All Assam Archery Association — Tezpur session and General Secretary of KDSA by the time of his death. Out of his personal experience, he felt the immediate need of educational institution to provide road map of higher technical courses to the local boys and girls and thus he promoted foundation of Brahma Baba Techno School. He aimed to make a real difference in cherishing the dreams of young aspirants of getting excellent ranks in IITS, NITS, AIMEE, Medals in National and International Olympiads and excelling in scholarship exams like KYPY. He also promoted foundation of Himalaya Mineral Water Plant at Kokrajhar town. We appreciate his zeal for services to the society and we are proud to be a part of his foundation of education for the young generation.

“Sometimes things that hurt you the most teach you the great lessons of life,” with this inspirational quote I have regained my eternal strength to move ahead, with my duties towards my children, my students and the Institution, which otherwise was not easy for me to come up with, after sudden demise of two precious gems of my life. Now, for me, being the spouse of the Founder, BBTS, Lt. Ajay Kr. Basumatary, it has become my passion to make his dream come true by imparting the powerful tools of knowledge through Education in true sense to the children at the most prestigious institution of the region- BRAHMA BABA TECHNO SCHOOL. “Education is not a preparation for life, Education is life in itself”, John Dewey. Education is the only tool that fabricates the inner resolve of the student. We believe that everything that happens in the school will have profound impact on children’s learning. BBTS believes in being community, where teachers, students and staff respect and trust each other and most of all; challenge themselves all the times with new frontiers. Affluent intellectual augment and personality development is the two-fold aim of the equality the school can offer. Today, it’s a competitive world and children are achieving very high distinctions, but the greatest support is required from the parents in instilling of human values, Indian culture, heritage and hand work with ethics. School is important. I am sure you have probably heard every grown-up in your life tell you. But the truth is that schooling is an absolute fundamental step to a successful life. Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today. Here in BBTS, we are creating a positive atmosphere and we have great facilities. Success for all students is ensured by the delivery of an enriching and structured curriculum and a whole school focus on student welfare that focuses on the positive recognition of student's achievements. Our school is strengthened by an incredibly supportive parent and wider community and we encourage you to become actively involved in all aspects of your child's education.
